My Birthday

It's an Ahlering family tradition to visit KC's Christmas decorations on my birthday. Since Union Station was having a model train display, we checked it out. Isabella was running around looking at them all. It was great that they were all on her level. It was hard to get good pictures because she was moving so fast.

 There was a little train for the kids to ride, and someone gave us a free ticket. She loved sitting in the train, but didn't want me to leave, so she just sat there until it started and then we went and watched from the sidelines. Maybe when she's a little older.

 Then we walked to Crown Center to visit their Crayola store and the candy store. They also had some fun outdoor things to explore. She doesn't seem to be as bothered by the cold as Erik and I.
