June

June was a VERY busy month. Isabella finished her first year of preschool. She LOVED it! All summer she asked when she was going back to school. In the meantime, she did get to do a LOT of fun things. June seemed to be sponsored by the state of NJ. We made two very fun trips.
Here is Isaiah's 5 month picture. Getting so big!
The first weekend in June we went to the Jersey shore for the boardwalk and to visit some of Erik's old stomping grounds. We haven't been back since his parents moved to MD about 4 years ago. Needless to say, Isabella loved the boardwalk--rides, games and treats-- what's not to love. Even Isaiah was pretty happy and giggling a lot.

If you get off the turnpike NJ has a TON of great parks, and we had to visit a few of Erik's favorites. Especially since the weather was perfect!

We were able to spend quite a few afternoons at the pool with friends.
Then we hit the road again. We went back to NJ to visit our good friends and their new baby.
Isabella got to spend some fun times with her friend Hannah. Here they are playing dress-up.
We finally checked out a really neat mineral museum near their house. Turns out it's famous for it's glowing rocks. We even got to go out back to the query and dig for rocks ourselves and see if we found ones that glowed.

On our way home we stopped in Southern NJ to visit Isabella's Godparents. We visited the VERY adorable Storybook Land. It was the perfect size for Isabella and she had a blast. This girls loves rides!

This is what too much fun looks like.
This is why I LOVE wearing my babies-- you get to look down and see these cute faces smiling up at you and you can kiss them constantly. I will be sad when he's too big for this... which is coming very soon.

We had an early birthday celebration with Aunt Jo-Jo before we headed out of town again in July. We are so thankful to have her so close by. Isabella ADORES her and Margo (her dog). As you can see, Isabella is still learning what it means to celebrate someone ELSE's birthday.
