Busch Gardens

Grandpa Norm also took us to Busch Gardens. In the morning Isabella and I checked out the kids place and rode the train. We went back to the hotel for an midday nap and rejoined Dad and Grandpa in the afternoon for more fun. She really did have a blast!
Sesame Forest of Fun had a water area that she wanted to run around in, but we weren't dressed for it.
She liked to watch the people get splashed on the Pompeii ride!
Here we are on Bert and Ernie's Loch Adventure!

Riding the train!
We came back in the afternoon dressed for the water area, and of course, she didn't have as much interest anymore. oh well-- at least we didn't get too wet. ;)
Taking the boat ride around the park.
Grandpa heard that Grover is Isabella's FAVORITE-- so he bought her one-- and boy did she LOVE it! As you'll see in the rest of the pictures, she carried him EVERYwhere. :)

We're waiting in line to ride the Dinosaur Egg Ferris Wheel-- she looks nervous.
But she LOVED it-- seriously, I couldn't believe it. She was all smiles and looking around and waving at Dad and Grandpa.
Grover got to ride too. ;)

 Checking out the view.

Then she got to ride the flying dragons with Dad-- it was hard to get a picture of them because she had to ride on the inside and it was moving pretty fast.

A little Rocky Road ice cream while we wait to see the Pet Shenanigans show.
Absolutely fascinated with the pet tricks! She even stopped eating the ice cream just to watch-- that's how you know she was serious.
Then we got to meet Elmo and The Count. I thought she would be scared-- but she ran right up to them. And was all smiles and even tried to share her Grover with Elmo. And she was fascinated with The Count's nose.

All in all, we had a GREAT weekend! Isabella was so good and loved every minute. This is what too much fun looks like-- slept the whole way home. :)
